Performance by Per Hüttner and Jean-Louis Huhta at Villa Punk, Mexico City March 29, 2014
Per Hüttner and Jean-Louis Huhta took the audience on a musical voyage inspired by Homer’s Odyssey and James Joyce’s Ulysses through Villa Punk. The performance was divided into four parts and corresponded to an aspect of human existence: the underworld, creativity, eroticism and violence.
The performers were supported by a local Mariachi band that played classics in the short intermissions between the four parts. After the performance and a short break (where Tacos were offered to Poseidon) Jean-Louis Huhta performed as Dungeon Acid and Per Hüttner created a visual live video feed that furthered the themes of the performance.
The project was supported by The City of Mexico DF and The Embassy of Sweden.
